草榴社区Crew Team Places 2nd as a Team; Medals in Four Races
20 of the team's 45 athletes competed in four of the races, and all four of the boats placed, earning medals. The students rowed a 2,000 meter course on the Rondout Creek. Newburgh was 2nd overall in points among teams for the Girls and Boys Cups.
2025 NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete Spring Team Award Recognition
To qualify for the NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete Team Award, 75% of a team's average GPA for the season must be at least 90%.
CHEERLEADING CLINIC | NECSD Students Grades K-6
草榴社区Varsity Cheerleading will be hosting a cheer clinic FREE OF CHARGE to all NECSD students in grades K-6. The clinic will take place JULY 21-24, 2025, from 5-8PM every night at 草榴社区North in the gymnasium.

Fourteen (14) NECSD music students from Heritage Middle School, Meadow Hill GEM School, 草榴社区Main Campus and South Middle School performed in the OCMEA Junior High All County Festival at Monroe Woodbury High School.
