Beginning the day in Beacon and catching an early morning ferry, students enjoyed being out on the river and hearing their teachers recite the famous Walt Whitman poem, "Crossing Brooklyn Ferry."

Students toured the campus, learned about admissions, financial aid, scholarship opportunities and student life. They also learned about various career program options in addition to academic programs and pathways.

HOH Students Learn about Conflict Resolution
The lesson included a powerpoint about Conflict Resolution using the "Bounce or Splat" strategy. They had to work with a partner to decide whether they would "bounce" or "splat" when faced with a problem.
