This is a friendly reminder that due to the forecasted heatwave and in the interest of student and staff safety, our district will be on a half-day schedule for students in grades Pre K-8 from Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27, 2025.

Due to the upcoming NYS Thruway Authority Meadow Hill Bridge Replacement Project, some school bus routes may be affected beginning Monday, June 16th. New school bus information has been posted on the school district website.

This is a friendly reminder that there is a half-day of school for students in grades Pre-K-6 ONLY on Friday, June 13th and Wednesday, June 18th. The district will also be closed on Thursday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

The 2025 NECSD All-District Art Show opening artists' reception was held at the Cornerstone Residence lobby on Broadway, featuring more than 230 pieces of artwork from NECSD students in grades Pre-K through 12.

Recognizing the school鈥檚 focus on global exploration and cultures, the colorful mural displays dozens of flags from around the world, creating a welcoming environment from the first step into the building.

Sixth grade students learned about catapults in social studies, completed a how to writing piece in ELA, designed functioning catapults in science, and, finally, collected and organized their data into graphs in math.
